Make no mistake! Beneath this bodybuilder’s physique and this slightly silly boyish appearance hides a real actor. Already in his porn films, Sebastian Barrio did not hesitate to highlight his comedic talents, often confining himself to the roles of good guy overwhelmed by his very enterprising female partners. This in the hope one day of being spotted by a director of more conventional films.
His dream was partly fulfilled in 2002 thanks to Claude Duty who noticed him on the set of the show Morning Live . The filmmaker, then known for Lost Girls, Grease Hair , offered him the opportunity to star alongside Philippe Harel and Marina Foïs in his new comedy entitled Bienvenue au gîte . His role: Julien, a gay man living in the famous establishment and a paralpinism enthusiast. Watching the film, we can’t help but smile, embarrassed to have recognized the pornstar. But wasn’t that the desired effect? Since then, our national “Barrioder” has been casting around in search of the role that will boost his career as an actor.
