Three-time PGA Tour winner Ryan Palmer has proven beyond doubt that golf is a sport in which he is earning his place, despite an eight-year drought without a win on the tour.

Beginnings and Glory
Ryan was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas on September 19, 1976. He was in the class of 1995 at Amarillo High School and played varsity golf at the University of North Texas for a year. To complete his college education, he transferred to Texas A&M University, where he graduated in 2000. The golfer turned professional after graduating.
Ryan played on mini-tours during the early years of his professional career from 2000 to 2002. He played on the Tightlies and Hooters tours. In 2003, he won the Nationwide Tour’s Clearwater Classic. Reaching the heights of his career fairly quickly, he ranked 6th on the money-winning list, earning him his 2004 PGA Tour card.
He is a three-time PGA Tour winner with his first win in 2004, second and third wins came in 2008 and 2010 respectively. In his first victory, he took three wins over Briny Baird and Vijay Singh.

The PGA Tour player was born to Butch and GloriaPalmer among four siblings, two sisters Courtney Palmer and Corrie Harris, and two brothers Todd Palmer and Trent Palmer. Her father, Charles Franklin “Butch” Palmer was born on February 23, 1944 in Pampa and graduated from Amarillo High School.
He enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served his country. He also worked as a bartender for 13 years and for IFCO Pallet Company for 30 years, retiring in 2013.
Butch has been described by friends as a devoted family man whose son, Ryan inherited most of his traits, including a great love for sports. It is said that Butch introduced his son to golf because he (Butch) enjoyed the game a lot. Butch however had no idea of playing golf but he made sure to support him in every way. possible and to participate in all his events before his death, on August 18, 2015, in a car accident.
Another thing that Ryan probably inherited from his father is his love for children and the act of giving. His father was an active member of the Khiva Shrine where he served as Potentate in 2001. He loved the children in the Shiner Hospitals so much and we missed him dearly at the time of his passing.
Ryan Palmer is married to a dentist, Jennifer Palmer (née Fuller). Jennifer was born on December 25, 1976 in San Antonio, Texas on Christmas Day. Her parents are Beverly and Jim Fuller.
She graduated from Amarillo High School and the couple may have met in high school or even college, as she attended the same university as her husband, Texas A&M University. She then went to the Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
They became husband and wife on June 29, 2002, in a ceremony held at Paramount Terrace Christian Church. Ryan and Jennifer have two children, son Mason and daughter Madelyn.
Jennifer works at Ryan’s charity, The Ryan PalmerFoundation. The foundation offers golf clinics, golf programs and scholarships to local youth in need. She was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in July 2016 and had surgery six weeks later.
With the development, Ryan being a loving and supportive husband took time off as she underwent chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
