Actress Linda Lavin discovered him while acting in a Broadway play that recommended the role of Tommy in the series ‘Alice.’ After attending the auditions in California, we all learned that he appeared in the entire season of the series. McKeon played the role of the teenage son of main character Alice Hyatt (Linda Lavin).
