BIOGRAPHY
After attending California State University, Fullerton, Omid Abtahi began studies in advertising, then earned a second bachelor’s degree in theater, graduating in 2002. Before acting on television, Abtahi performed on stage in many theater productions. While continuing with productions in New York, he also appeared as a guest on television series such as JAG (2005), Judging Amy (2005) and 24 (2009). He played Justin Yates on Ghost Whisperer (2007-2008), and was a regular on FX’s Over There (2005) and Showtime’s Sleeper Cell (2006). During his career, Abtahi provided his voice for several television and video game projects. He played the regular role of Detective Jerry Molbeck in Those Who Kill (2014), and Amani Golker in Demien (2016). In 2019 he had a role in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, and since 2017 he has a regular role in Prime Video’s American Gods .
