BIOGRAPHY
The actor and producer Mauricio Ochmann Siordia was born on November 16, 1977 in Washington DC, United States. A few years after his birth, he went to live, along with his family, in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico. He began acting at age 16 and later studied acting at Joanne Baron’s studio in Los Angeles, California. He debuted in 1997 on the small screen with the television series La Cosa and the following year he participated in the telenovela Azul Tequila (1998). His first professional role in the United States marked his big screen debut with the film Message in a Bottle (1999). Already with an international project on his resume, more offers knocked on his door. He debuted as a producer in 2013 with the short films Rain Inside and Los Caminos del Señor. He has participated in films such as 7 Mujeres, 1 Homosexual y Carlos (2004), See, Hear and Shut Up (2005) and Corazón Marchito (2007). He is mainly known for his performances in soap operas, some of them are Como in the cinema (2001), Mirada de mujer, el corazón (2003), Amarte Así, Frijolito (2005), Marina (2006) , Victoria (2007) and Dame chocolate (2007) . Among his latest projects are the films Te Juro que yo no fue and We’ll See (2018), Do It Like a Man (2017) and the television series, El Señor de los Cielos (2013) and El Chema (2016). In 2020 he starred in the Netflix original film, I’ll charge you there , alongside Emeralda Pimentel. Mauricio Ochmann is the father of two girls, one of them is the daughter of María José de Valle Prieto, while his second little one is the daughter of actress Aislinn Derbéz.
