BIOGRAPHY
Manuel Masalva studied music for five years before pursuing a career as an actor. He graduated from the Televisa Artistic Education Center and the Faculty of Music of the Autonomous University of Tampico. In 2014 he began to have a presence on television in soap operas such as My heart is yours (2014) and Yago (2016). He even reached an international audience with Love Divina (2017), a series that aired in Mexico, Argentina and Italy. In 2019 he achieved new recognition thanks to his impersonation as Luis Enrique Guzmán in La Guzmán , the bioseries of Alejandra Guzmán. However, Masalva is perhaps best known for playing Ramón Arellano Félix in Narcos: México (2018-2021), the youngest of the Arellano Félix family, who after the fall of the “Boss of bosses” forms the Tijuana cartel. We will soon see him alongside Fernando Colunga in the new Netflix series El secreto de la familia Greco (2022).
