BIOGRAPHY
Born in Paris in 1987, Makita Samba was attracted to comedy since childhood and tried his hand at theater when he was in high school. Once he had completed his baccalaureate, however, he turned to law for three years. His passion for comedy caught up with him: in 2008 he enrolled at the Cours Florent in a free class then trained at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art from 2012 to 2015. It was on the stage that he first made

his evidence, particularly within the company Les Âmes visible. We saw her for the first time on screen in 2011 in À moi Seul , alongside Agathe Bonitzer and Reda Kateb .

Appearances in television series followed ( No Limit , Munch , Candice Renoir ) then his first major film role in 2018 in the historical film Angelo . Alongside Alba Rohrwacher , he plays a slave operating in the Viennese court at the beginning of the 18th century.

But it was his performance in Les Olympiades by Jacques Audiard in 2021 that earned him attention: he was nominated the following year for the César for Most Promising Male. In this black and white romantic crossover, he plays Camille, a disillusioned professor who finds an escape in sex.
