The drill rapper was born in Chicago, Illinois, United States on July 15, 1996. His real name is Will James Akins and he was born to African American parents. He has American nationality and belongs to the black ethnic group. Foe had a difficult childhood and grew up in a very dangerous neighborhood where everyone carries a gun for daily protection. As a teenager, Lud Foe dropped out of high school after falling out with his classmate, as well as a teacher and his principal. Thereafter, he remained in detention for a year and when he was released, the young boy never returned to school. He instead took to the streets and focused on his career as a rapper.

Why was he arrested in Illinois?
In December 2017, Lud Foe was arrested by the Joliet Police in Illinois. He was convicted of domestic battery involving his pregnant wife and mother. The incident took place at his flat in Cumberland Court, Plainfield, after a heated argument between the rapper and his 24-year-old pregnant partner. His girlfriend felt that Lud Foe punched her in the face while pushing her out of bed in their apartment. However, when her mother tried to intervene, Foe allegedly slapped and pushed her away as well.
Also, the rapper stopped them from making any contact with the police which caused his mother to press the panic button and the Joliet police were alerted. When police arrived, Lud Foe was arrested and charged with domestic violence as well as interfering with the reporting of domestic violence to the police. He was transferred to Will County Jail and was scheduled to appear later.
