BIOGRAPHY
Jerónimo Cantillo is a Colombian actor and singer, born on September 4, 1991, in Valledupar, Colombia. The son of a former congressman and a district attorney, Cantillo lost his father when he was a child, at the hands of violence in his native country in the 1990s, being murdered in an attack in which his mother managed to survive. This motivated the family to move to different cities in Colombia and Jerónimo to take refuge in art, particularly music and acting, as a way of dealing with the events. At the age of 16, he began his studies in dramatic art in Bogotá and his talent soon opened the doors for him as a singer and actor. He rose to fame with his role as Kaleth Morales, in the popular series Los Morales (2017), participating in 73 episodes, which was followed by the series Verdad Oculta (2020). In 2021 it was announced that he had been selected as one of the stars of the new version of Rebelde (2022).
