Ibrahima Gueye is a young actor, born in 2006, in Senegal. He grew up in Italy with his parents and with just two professional appearances as an actor, in a small role in the television film Adouna: La vie, le monde (2012) and the Spanish short film Muñeca negra (2019), Gueye managed to beat little more of 300 applicants for one of the main roles in the film Life Before You (2020), where he plays a young immigrant in Italy, whose mother has been murdered by a criminal and has generated a particular hatred, full of childlike curiosity. It is striking that the film, directed by Edoardo Ponti, also stars the legendary Sophia Loren, who has not only given the applause to the young promise, but has spoken only positive things about her co-star.
