Rachel Morin, a young mother from Bel Air, Maryland, was found dead on August 6, 2023, after taking a stroll on the Ma and Pa Trail, according to a GoFundMe campaign set up by her family.
The Harford County Sheriff’s Office made the following announcement on August 6, 2023: “A female was found deceased off of the Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air at about 1:07 p.m.
The victim’s identity, manner of death, and cause of death are all still under investigation.
On the GoFundMe website, Rebekah Morin, Morin’s sister, claimed that her sister’s body had been found and that her death had not been an accident.
Morin, 37, allegedly did not come back after her stroll and was reported missing at 11:20 p.m. on Saturday, per Gahler.
At around six o’clock, Rachel Morin was last seen on the trail.
The sheriff’s office reports that her car was also found close to the trail.
Officials say they are looking into what caused the death.
How Did Rachel Morin Die?
Although the reason and method of death are still unknown and the matter is still under investigation, a sheriff by the name of Jeff Gahler declared the death to be a homicide.
