BIOGRAPHY
Eli Jorne began his career in the comedy genre. He served as executive producer and co-executive producer on FX’s Wilfred (2012-2014) and as co-executive producer on the Starz comedy series Blunt Talk (2015) and was also co-creator and executive producer of the animated action comedy series on live from Fox Son of Zorn (2016). Over the past few years, Jorne has transitioned from comedy to drama. He executive produced the Starz wrestling drama series Heels , which follows the story of two brothers and in-ring rivals who fight over his late father’s wrestling promotion in small-town Georgia. As of 2019, he joined the writing team of the AMC series The Walking Dead after closing a two-year contract with the network. Jorne is the creator of The Walking Dead: Dead City (2023), the first series directly derived from the original series.
