BIOGRAPHY
Passionate about theater, Cristiana Reali moved to Paris to enroll in the Florent course. It was there that she met her teacher Francis Huster , with whom she shared her life and with whom she had two daughters: Elisa and Toscane. Playing the great classics in the theater, she received the Molière for best actress for her role in the play Duo for solo violin . In the cinema, she played Jean-Paul Belmondo

‘s daughter in The Stranger in the House (1992), the adaptation of Georges Simenon ‘s novel by Georges Lautner . But it is thanks to television that this pretty brunette with green eyes owes her notoriety. She thus starred in some successful series such as Terre Indigo (1996) or Le Miroir de l’eau (2004) and in numerous popular TV films ( La Dame aux camélias , 1998; La Trenche des Espoirs , 2003). Despite her acting talents, her film appearances remain rare. Ariel Zeïtoun, however, gave her a chance by offering her the role of seductress alongside Nagui in the comedy A Very, Very, Very Loving Woman in 1997. After having toured under the direction of Claude Lelouch in the diptych Les Parisiens (2004) then The Courage to Love (id.), the actress returns to television in a lasting manner, very often in historical fiction: The Bachelor’s Ball , Purification , The President’s Mistress , etc. Focusing on theater and television, Cristiana Reali nevertheless plays a few supporting roles on the big screen in dramas ( Two Days to Kill by Jean Becker ) or lighter comedies ( Turf , The Big Bad Wolf ).
