BIOGRAPHY
Carlos Encinas Bardem is a Spanish actor and writer, born on March 7, 1963, in Madrid, Spain. He is part of a family of artists and performers, his grandfather was the renowned actor Rafael Bardem, his mother is the actress Pilar Bardem and his brothers are the actors Mónica and Javier Bardem.

Carlos studied History at the Autonomous University of Madrid and graduated in International Relations. While writing his first novel, Carlos had multiple jobs, unloading fruit, as a doorman, waiter, bookstore employee, among others. In 1999, he managed to publish his first novel, Exemplary Deaths , a work that was recommended by the Nadal Prize jury. In his career as a writer, Carlos published Durango Perdido, Buziana y el peso del alma and La Bardem , which is a biography of his mother, Pilar.

He debuted as an actor in a small role in the film Mas que amor, frenesí (1996), and later participated in films such as Perdita Durango (1997), Juegos de Luna (2001), Bestiario (2002), El desenlace (2005) , Alatriste ( 2006), Celda 211 (2009), among others. He achieved a lot of popularity with his role as Justo, in the successful series There is someone there (2009-2010).
