Anthony Micelli Obituary, Death – Tony M. Micelli, age 66, of Santa Rosa, New Mexico, passed away without any discomfort on June 6, 2023 in the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born on August 4, 1956 in Santa Rosa, New Mexico, Anthony Micelli was the son of Ramona Micelli.
Anthony spent his childhood in Santa Rosa, where he also received his education and achieved his high school diploma from Santa Rosa High School. Following his graduation from high school, Anthony enlisted in the United States Army and served his country with distinction. In the course of his career, Anthony had positions at White Sands Missile Range, Sandia National Laboratories, and GEO, where he served as a CO.
At the most current point in time, Anthony was receiving treatment at the Spinal Cord Injury Center located within the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Albuquerque. In addition to being a proud soldier, Anthony was a parishioner at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, a lover of the Raiders, and he truly enjoyed riding his motorbike. His mother, Ramona Micelli, and his grandmother, Encarnacion “China” Madrid, passed away before Anthony.
Anthony is the only child of his parents. Not only does Anthony leave behind his children, Mark Micelli and his wife Renee of Santa Rosa and Samantha Olguin and her husband Carlos of Albuquerque, but he also leaves behind his grandkids, Anthony Micelli and his wife Chema, Monica Micelli and her husband Joslynn, Madison Micelli, and Mia Micelli.
Additionally, Anthony is survived by his siblings, including Rachel (Jeff Favors) Terry, Toni Micelli, and Sam Micelli, all of whom reside in Las Cruces, New Mexico; Jeannie Gutierrez-Horowitz (Michael) of Chicago, Illinois; Dennis Micelli of Phoenix, Arizona; and Frances Gallegos of Santa Rosa; in addition to a large number of nephews, nieces, family members, and friends. On Friday, June 9, 2023, from one to six o’clock in the afternoon, relatives and friends will be able to pay their respects at the Chavez Funeral Home in Santa Rosa.
