BIOGRAPHY
Angourie Rice is a young Australian actress, born on January 7, 2001, in Perth, Australia. Coming from a creative family involved in art and film, she is the daughter of Jeremy and Kate Race, a director and a screenwriter. She lived for a few years in Munich, when her family moved to the German city, but she soon returned to her native Perth.
Since she was little she was involved in several short films and television advertisements. At just 11 years old, the actress was recognized with the best actress award at the St Kilda Film Festival for her participation in the short film Transmission (2012). Her participation led her to make her film debut with the film, These Final Hours (2013). But her big role happens with Shane Black’s film, Dangerous Guys (2016), alongside Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling. Rice was one of the most brilliant and talked about elements of the film, ensuring a spectacular future for the young actress.
After the film, Rice has participated in films such as Jasper Jones (2017), The Seducer (2017), Spider-Man: Coming Home (2017), Every Day (2018) and Ladies in Black (2018).
