Alexi Ashe was born in 1983 in New Mexico, USA to Tom and Joan Ashe. She grew up with her older sister, Ariel Ashe, who is an interior designer.
After graduating from high school, she attended Occidental College, a private liberal arts college in Los Angeles, California, and from there she transferred to Southwestern University School of Law. Because of her passion for protecting human rights, Alexi Ashe worked as a legal intern for Human Rights First while she was in law school.
Since graduating, she has worked in the Family and Crime Prevention and Child Protection Department of the Los Angeles Law Firm. Alexi Ashe also worked as an assistant district attorney for the DA’s Special Victims Bureau and Human Trafficking Bureau in Brooklyn.She is currently an attorney at Sanctuary for Families, a non-profit organization that addresses the needs of victims of all forms of abuse. She provides free services to victims of human trafficking and domestic violence around the world.
In addition, Alexi is co-chair of the New York State Anti-Trafficking Coalition. Because of her work to combat human trafficking, the beautiful woman is named among the “New Abolitionists” in New York.

Alexi Ashe and Seth Meyers got married on September 1, 2013, and have been together ever since. According to Meyers, they met at the wedding of Chris Kattan, his co-Saturday Night Live cast member. As the story goes, Alexi’s sister worked in Saturday Night Live’s set design department. She (Alexi) was a guest at the wedding and met her future husband there.
According to Seth, she was the closest contact he had ever had with anyone he could see himself with and as soon as he met Alexi he loved her at first sight so they hit it off immediately.
