Aimee Allen is a Los Angeles-based musician and songwriter popularly known as the lead singer of American ska punk band, The Interrupters. With the group, Aimee has released several EPs as well as commercially successful studio albums. She has also collaborated with several artists including Jimmy Cliff and Lee “Scratch” Perry, among others.
With a career spanning over a decade, Aimee began her professional journey in 2002 after being discovered by a music producer named Randy Jackson. She went mainstream after the release of her 2007 album, Sitting in a Tree, with Scott Russo. From the album, their single titled Miss America won the Vox Populi Duo Award for Best Punk Song at the Annual Independent Music Awards. Besides being a member of The Interrupters, Aimee has also done a few solo projects.

The singer was born on the 2nd day of February 1982 and his birth took place in Missoula, a city in Montana, United States. Although she became a very talented punk singer, not much is known about her early life, her parents and her family. It is also unknown if she is the only child of her parents or not. All we know is that the singer spent her early years in the Missoula neighborhood of Montana. She holds an American nationality while her ethnicity is white.

Aimee Allen’s musical career began in 2002 after she was discovered by record producer Randy Jackson. After that, she collaborated with Mark Ronson and Don Gilmore on her debut album titled I’d Start a Revolution If I Could Get Up In The Morning. However, the album was never released as she signed up with Atlantic Records. The following year, her debut single, Revolution was released. In 2005, she contributed to the writing of the Unwritten Law album entitled Here is the morning. In 2009, the singer released her first solo album, A Little Happiness, which was produced by ADA/Warner Brothers. The album was commercially successful, reaching number 27 on the Billboards Heatseekers chart as well as number 49 Billboard Hot AC music chart.
In 2011, Aimee Allen teamed up with the Bivonabrothers – Jesse, Justin and Kevin Bivona to form the ska/punk band called The Interrupters. Since then, the band has released over three EPs and studio albums and embarked on several tours of the United States. Some of their most popular albums include T The Switches (2014), Say It Out Loud (2016), and Fight the Good Fight (2018).
